*The most sought after question ever asked*

*has meaning, depth and grand significance,*

*this central question, “Who Am I?” goes on,*

*throughout our short life here and well beyond;*

*the quest for self-identity begins*

*when one sincerely asks this great question-*

*sincere reflection further clarifies*

*a destiny of dreams un-realized,*

*allowing roots to firmly take their hold,*

*unfolding into fields of dreams untold-*

*beyond the mind’s potential to embrace,*

*exquisite gardens of our Father’s grace;*

*within each personality are seeds,*

*unique seeds of potentiality-*

*‘thoughts’ planted by the Creator within,*

*awaiting self-hood actualization;*

*when nurtured through experience in time,*

*these seeds mature, becoming actualized-*

*as freewill is empowered to create,*

*in destiny we do participate;*

*beginning as a seedling from a seed,*

*developing into a mighty tree-*

*each branch is permanent and lives to grow,*

*each cherished limb producing precious growth;*

*and so it is as life continues on,*

*the question, “Who Am I?” is pondered on-*

*regardless of realities achieved,*

*our quest for who we are will never cease;*

*as beauty flows from truth and righteousness,*

*new life springs forth from higher consciousness-*

*reflecting He who planted all our seeds,*

*as we express His love and grow our trees.*

*The Masterpiece Within*





*Of all events in life I can recall,*

*The one that towers high above them all,*

*Is when I finally put away the sword*

*And gave my life completely to the Lord-*

*Through agony and pain I saw the light*

*And recognized how futile was my fight,*

*The joy within my soul embraced my mind,*

*Confirming that I’d found the God inside.*

*As time went on I clearly understood*

*That everything was changing for the good,*

*New revelation motivated me*

*To visualize a higher destiny,*

*Thus seeking for the highest will, inside,*

*I found that I could co-create my life;*

*Each day now brings a greater inner peace*

*As ‘we’ construct and shape ‘our’ masterpiece-*

*And so it is this sculpture takes its shape,*

*This living soul within, 'my' true estate.*

*Our ‘Midmind’…. the Soul*



*Time…. is the stream of temporal events*

*perceived by finite creature consciousness,*

*a name whereby events are recognized, *

*in space, appearing to be circumscribed.*

*as mortals we are bound by time and space,*

*yet through our mind we can lift such constraints,*

*spirit, containing neither space nor time,*

*personally, indwells the human mind.*

*imagination creates memories,*

*within our mind we’re where we want to be,*

*but mind cannot create the soul alone,*

*as memories will fade, the soul is grown.*

*this soul is watered by our decisions*

*then fed and nurtured by the God within;*

*according to His master plan design*

*we figuratively color in the lines.*

*this masterpiece, the growing, conscious soul,*

*personality’s future vehicle,*

*a living, feeling, knowing entity,*

*the vital link to life eternity,*

*stays constantly in touch with God on High,*

*thanks to His spirit that lives in our mind;*

*indwelt in time upon the soul’s birth sphere,*

*how dare we call this world a ‘vale of tears’,*

*for all we need to do is reach within*

*allowing this great soul to be our friend-*

*in time to find this noble growing soul*

*is who we really are as life unfolds.*
