Opening Prayer.

*Klarixiska (Virginia): I think this is Klarixiska. Father, Mother, Brother, Creator, Source of all that is, give us the gratitude necessary for the teachers and the students to continue on the path that leads to You. We know that a grateful heart, for all You are, and all You do, will help us to be a reflection of Your love in the world. May the Divine love that comes from You reflect in their faces and their lives, in their service to brothers and sisters and especially because they have listened to the teachers, to us tonight. Amen.

*Daniel (Bob S.): Greetings friends, this is Daniel, your teacher, guide, friend and stalwart critic, but only in the most positive of characterization.

Friends, we gather with you tonight to assist you as individuals, as members of this group, along your individual paths to the Father. That is the ultimate purpose for which we are here. Even as we speak to you as members of this group, it is that individual reaction and interpretation of our lessons which we are most sensitive to. To that end tonight we have a lesson, which I will not be giving, it is forth coming by another. One moment please.

*Linda (Nancy K.): Greetings, I am Linda, Nancy’s long-time friend and companion, being given the opportunity to springboard off Klarixiska’s opening prayer.

Tonight’s lesson is centered on gratitude, for gratitude enhances the ability to experience an ongoing state of stillness. And so I digress for a moment to underscore the ultimate objective-on going communication in partnership with your indwelling God Fragment. This companionship is otherwise understood as stillness. It is the goal of reflective and meditative practices to achieve a state in which your mind is free of many human emotions that can, when not properly channeled, impair communication with the Father. But the ultimate goal remains to be in a continuing state of stillness in which one experiences human emotions but is not prisoner of them.

To enter this state, gratitude is a lubricant. When one is in a state of gratitude and can be thankful for the experiences and the people that are in their daily lives, then one is looking for the lessons, and it is much more difficult to feel like a victim of circumstances and other peoples’ will. When one is experiencing gratitude for all of the good that is truly understand as good, it makes it easier to find the good in the more difficult circumstances.

And so, the one (who) is desiring to develop the grateful heart begins by focusing on the obvious and letting that sense of thankfulness, grow. And as you can, aspect-by-aspect, situation-by-situation, person-by-person, seek to let your sense of gratitude expand to encompass more and more until finally you are grateful for the entire package of the many aspects of your life and your world. Remain focused on the promise that is in every negative situation, for you have been told that God uses all things for the good, and while you might not be able to see how this could possibly be, remain grateful for that promise as you review situations that otherwise lead you to revulsion and despair.

I wish to address briefly the concept that was raised several weeks ago, the idea of walking in beauty. For some people this phrase has great meaning and in many ways it epitomizes this sense of gratitude, of graciousness, of deep respect, acknowledging the dignity of all. When walking in beauty one is permeated by gratitude, and the Father is found to be very companionable, very close, very protective and adoring, in the sense of the parent loving the child.

As you begin your structured time in stillness this week, we request that, if you so desire, that you begin by an inventory of those people and situations for which you are truly grateful and then expand this to those items that trouble you. Throughout your day as situations arise in which you feel discomfort, if you can reach for that sense of gratitude, you may find your discomfort lessened, your heart lightened and the situation more manageable. As you seek gratitude, you will find that the inverse is also there, your being becomes more gracious, more accepting, less troubled, and your responses express wisdom.

It has been my pleasure to have this opportunity to share my personal views regarding the importance of gratitude in making and retaining the connection with the God Fragment. I now step aside and thank you for your listening ear.

*Daniel (Bob S.): This is Daniel, my friends. Are there any questions or comments or any other discussion you would like to pursue at this point? (pause)

Bob S.: Yes, I have one. Is that legal? [Ed note: Bob was TRing and came out to ask the question] Linda you seemed to be saying, or did I hear you say, that we should seek to spend more time in silence to the point where we are doing that full time. Is that correct, or did I miss hear you?

*Linda: Let me clarify. Silence NO, stillness YES! The goal is to be in stillness one hundred percent of the time. Stillness is defined as being in connection, in constant communication, with the Father. This state is often first experienced in mortals through such techniques as meditation, and so our early lessons were on meditation practices we called stillness.

As your curriculum has developed and as your understanding and abilities have progressed, we have been making an effort to “raise the bar” a bit. [Ken: a bit? Laughing ] Humor understood Ken, thank you. We wish for you to see the long, long goal as having this constant communication, and so our lessons have been focused on how to assist you in incorporating practices that allow that ongoing style of communication. It is very much like being in a receptive TRing state continuously, only the communication is not with ascendant beings or other celestial beings, but rather with the God Fragment, or Michael, or other Deity. Does this help?

Bob S.: Yes, that clears it up. Thank you very much.

*Linda: My pleasure.

*Daniel: This is Daniel, are there any other questions before we close tonight’s session?

Virginia: Linda, I had a silly thought when you said “raise the bar.” And I thought of the Olympics in that there are those who are using drug altering pills and things to give themselves more strength. And I was thinking to myself, now would stillness be likened to a mind-altering drug that would help us to reach the height that the bar has been placed. It seems like the things that come to us can seem pretty mundane and then get hit with a … somebody raised the bar about twelve inches when it has been at increment of one or two inches.

*Linda: Yes, Virginia, understood. I would say that stillness is more like the daily running practice and the daily jumping practice that strengthens one’s muscles and allows the individual to jump ever higher. It is the repetitive practice that achieves lasting results.

Virginia: It sounds too disciplined but thank you.

*Linda: I am not going to say that there is not fun to be had (laughing) by any means.

Virginia: I was looking for the magic wand (laughing).

*Linda: PamElla heard the words “there she goes again looking for that magic wand again.”
Ken: May I elaborate on that Linda? [please] when one can be in the presence of God in their daily lives, and can exhibit that, are they not the magic wand, so to speak.

*Linda: They have accessed the magic wand, the Father’s will.

Ken: Thank you.

*Linda: You are welcome.

*Daniel: This is Daniel, I sense that your questions and comments have been concluded. Shall we stand for a closing prayer?

My friends, as we send you forth into your week, I pray the Father will be even more accessible to each of you, to the point where your week will be felt as one in which progress has been made, experiences will be interpreted as positive and your heart will swell with that love which we saw in the Master when He lived on this planet. In His name we ask. Amen.
