Hi folks,
(I'm using this note both as a test to see if the lists are working and to provide an update on the upcoming Spiritual Unity Conference which is a joint conference that should appeal to both UB readers and TeaM participants. So please forgive my non-transcript post to tmtranscripts, if you will.)
The early registration deadline for the Boise Conference is July 1st, only a week away, and final registration should be in by July 28th at the latest. You can get the conference information at: www.associationforlightandlife.org/events/boiseconference.html or send a note to all at onewest.net and we'll forward you the registration info.
You may also register at the website, if you choose.
A note that after July 11th, reservations can be made only on a space availability basis, as we will not hold on to rooms that we have not rented out by that date. There is a chance that those rooms could be rented to another group conferencing at one of the other lodges on the mountain.
Some have wondered if they could pay part up front and the rest later. The answer is yes, that a $50 deposit per person will secure your space, with final payment due by July 28th unless arrangements are made.
There are some good air rates out there to Boise right now. Check www.southwest.com and www.cheaptickets.com for current prices.
A note about silent auction, that we have decided *not* to do one at this conference unless someone wants to take it on and spearhead the coordination of that project. Feel free to volunteer if you want to do this.
Everything has come together and we have a power packed lineup of events, speakers, presenters, musicians, poets, artists, etc. The rough draft of the schedule is below, but nothing is set in stone as of yet regarding times. This is an initial outline that is subject to change. I believe we have about 50 people committed to coming at this point, give or take.
This should be a real opportunity for those in any branch of the Urantia movement who are open to unity and cooperation to come together in the spirit unity of our Father, Michael, and Mother as one family of brothers and sisters under God.
Some may question whether it's possible to have Urantia events and TeaM events at the same gathering, but we have endeavored to clearly mark all presentations and workshops with an identification of UB, TeaM, and All. ("All" will mean that the presenter has assured us that their workshop is not particularly identified with either UB or TeaM and should be of benefit or interest to anyone.) We're not here to build barriers, but to hopefully build bridges toward cooperation, tolerance, and higher understanding.
If you have any questions send us a note.
Hope to see you there!!!
