TOMAS:  Do you feel like "babes in the woods"?
THOROAH:  Great analogy.
TOMAS:  What is your question?

THOROAH:  For the sake of the lesson, you depicted Machiventa and his agenda 
and Michael and his, and I'm wondering if there is a simplified agenda such 
as that for the Fifth Epochal Revelation? 

TOMAS:  It is in you each, and this is the wisdom of such a presentation of 
truth as is to be found in the Urantia text which reveals to you your agenda 
individually.  The Urantia text is a technique of bringing you all 
individually into the position of being an essential element in uplifting 
Urantia.  Each of you in this context are given the assignment of enhancing 
Urantia as you attempt to attain a level of expression that bespeaks the 
essential Agenda of all God's sons and daughters.  

Therefore let's look at the Material Sons and Daughters, the planetary Adams 
and Eves and review what their agenda was as they embarked upon the 
assignment of uplifting planetary life on Urantia, as it indicates an example 
of a pair of personalities who embark upon an assignment and misperceive 
their approach.  I pause on this because it is also very possible for each of 
you, in applying yourself to your agenda, to make the same mistake, given the 
nature of the forest in which you find yourself.

The business of being about the Father's business isn't always in the 
original circumstance.  Often the circumstances need to be altered in order 
for the ultimate Agenda to take place, and this is the problem Adam and Eve 
encountered in coming here and finding the situation  was not as it might 
have been.  The work they were prepared to do, trained to do, born to do, was 
aborted because of the circumstances in which they found themselves, and they 
were making every attempt to put aright what had come to pass in the 
planetary destiny preceding their arrival.

It concerns us in terms of our dependency on you to fulfill the obligations 
inherent in the epochal revelation in which you are today.  And yet if you 
can envision the efforts of Machiventa and of Michael as an example of how to 
find yourself in the situation and make the best of that which you have to 
work with, it will not default.  Even while it will not advance in the ready 
ways in which it would have advanced if it had not erred originally.

In the case of Jesus, for instance, the times in which he lived, the times of 
his bestowal provided the forest floor for him to take root and grow. Part of 
the conditions as he found them were the political situations and in 
particular the use of the word "kingdom" by his forerunner John the Baptist.  
Even though the phrase "kingdom of heaven" confused the populace and was not 
his perferred method of teaching, even so it became necessary for him to be 
able to incorporate that phrase into his work because that's what was 
portended and because he was the fulfillment of that which was portended.

You also are under duress as a result of what conditions are prevailing on 
Urantia today, and this is why so many of you are stopped in your tracks of 
knowing how to proceed in good faith of the good news, for everywhere you 
turn, it seems, you are up against a conditioned response as a result of the 
sins of your forefathers.  

Your challenge may appear to be overwhelming.  And many of you find it more 
equitable for your soul to be perfect even as the Father in heaven is 
perfect, by simply minding your business and going about your lives as best 
you can and influencing only those over whom you have authority.  And this, 
in fact, will contribute to the overall advancement of the planet in its 
natural evolutionary state and often this is the case, that the natural 
evolution can succeed where revelation fails.  But on the other hand, you who 
have a clear sense of the situation as Jesus did, will be able to manipulate 
the soil in which you plant your seeds such that there is a true chance that 
growth can take place because of your cultivation skills.

When you recall the counsel to allow the Spirit to do the work, when you find 
the moment wherein you open your mouth and pearls of wisdom pour forth, you 
rejoice and retire having had a sense of satisfaction in the betrothal 
between the finite and the infinite.  But these circumstances are not always 
readily available, at least not readily apparent!  

And while we trust the Spirit to move us, and while we recognize that the 
Spirit will act in its time, it is the ambition of many to be able to impose 
upon the consciousness of humanity how we might better serve the God of our 
understanding and each other through conscious and conscientious behaviors, 
philosophies, attitudes, ad infinitum.  And herein is where each of your own 
personal agenda is impacted.

If you feel your destiny is to minister to the sick, then you will apply 
yourself with vigor to those situations that you perceive to need your 
ministry.  Whereas another's agenda may have determined that it is not in the 
Father's best interest to dwell on the imperfections of time, but rather to 
direct the attentions to rejoicing and celebrating the many wonders which the 
divine portrays.  In which case, they may find the agenda of their brother to 
be self-serving or an obstruction to what they regard as a greater mission, 
or a wiser approach to service.  While many others disengage themselves 
entirely from one-on-one ministry, and for reasons of their own, aspire to 
attempt to portray their godlike ideals through their various and sundry 
works and products of a nature to enhance the overall global condition.  

You have our sympathy, but you also have our unceasing support.  When you 
choose to introduce yourself to divine ways, you will receive divine counsel. 
 When you choose to embark upon social enlightenment as a natural side effect 
of your relationship with divinity, you receive social counsel.  When you 
engage in the political arena to better serve those Oh High, you receive 
political counsel. There are thoe of you who are submerged in the values of 
family and homelife, and therein you will find counsel.  The ministry being 
provided to you through Machiventa's Teacher Corp is virtually unlimited in 
its ability to assist you in assisting our efforts in the reclamation of your 
world.

We need to release our fears of our co-workers' agendas and trust the 
powers-that-be to guide and direct our progress.  If you cannot understand 
how it is that your fellow is being of service, it's not within your purview 
to be concerned.  Only as you are individually called upon to respond, are 
you able to cooperatively respond as an extension of a perception of divinity 
that you are privy to because of the nature of your relationship with 
divinity.  Paulo would like to insert some Paulo philosophy.

THOROAH:  Thank you, Tomas.

PAULO:  Greetings, dear friends and followers.  Not MY followers, but 
followers of leadings.  Well, there are those who would say we dabble in 
mischief when we dare say we are into "leadings", as a clear conscience of 
reality between God and his offspring yields only one leading and that is 
toward Paradise.  And while this is true, the social aspect of religion is 
also a very large part of evolving reality.  

And how many of you are of a mind that if and as it is not possible for you 
to discern how and why it is your brother grows in his particular part of the 
garden, you jump to the hasty conclusion that he has to be rebelling!  
Another upstart in the kingdom has made a showing.  Surely, a caligastian 
influence, a remnant of the rebels or a free will run amok.  

While I would wish you wisdom enough to discern your fellows' abilities to 
convey their truth, I would also encourage you to by-pass much of the mortal 
mental machinations which mankind must muddle through in order for his clear 
light to be freely flooded across the land.  

Each of you in our Father's eyes are already perfect, and only in future time 
with this projected perfection be realized, but from the outpost of Urantia, 
you discern relatively little perfection.  And therefore you see a great deal 
of imperfection, and occasionally your perception of imperfection rises to 
greater heights than needs be.  
What you might call it is "making mountains out of molehills".  

What you truly must do is grant your brothers the inherent integrity as is 
afforded every imperfect and enlarging soul.  Try not to assume the worst.  
Try not to allow your habitual conditioning to reign supreme.  Try to see 
each other in fresh vision.  Try not to drag with you all the nuances of your 
former thinking, former prejudices, prior acts and fears.  In case you have 
an habitual tendency to rebuke your brethren, you do well then to remain 
circumscribed in your private part of the forest and mind your own business.  

Giving evil a lot of credit it doesn't deserve only serves to cement the 
evil.  It gives reality to something that will pass away.  Error is inherent 
in imperfection, and each of you are yet imperfect, even while in eternity 
your potential is in fact perfection.  
Be then mindful of the admonition, the injunction to "be you perfect in your 
sphere" and be mindful that your sphere is not over-extending itself into the 
sphere of others.   

This rebuilding of the social order that was to have been will come about as 
an effect of the spiritual cause of you each.  The society of tomorrow will 
be based on the social abutments you build in your fraternal relations today. 
 Each of you has a remnant of the conditioning of the influence of the 
caligastian regieme, and yet that does not make you "caligastian", it does 
not make you the enemy.  Rather, it challenges the true sons and daughters of 
God to perceive the soul behind the conditioning and embrace the Agenda of 
that Soul, thus enabling the nobility of that developing soul to release its 
fear clasp, its human conditioning, its acknowledged errors, in hope of 
attaining that plateau of functioning, living, believing, as will depict the 
motivation of the mortal to be perfect in his sphere as the Father is perfect 
in His.

PAULO:  I am glad you have enjoyed our words for you this afternoon.  I see 
you here all having an agenda for today, a day of creative application, and 
I, as well as we all, appreciate how you have adapted your personal agendas 
to incorporate our mutual agenda of serving together in this army, advancing 
on light and life.

DOLORES:  I'd like to close out our afternoon session by again inviting our 
consciousnesses to lift up into the spirit realms, to touch the infinite, to 
find freedom therein and to wash ourselves in the living water which rains 
down upon us all.  The just and the unjust, the aware children and the 
children asleep, the workers and the players, let us be about Our Father's 
business.  Amen.  Farewell.
