Susan! Are you going to Vancouver? I hope so. I turn my head and look at
civic center. It is bleak. The southern hills are shrouded with a gray
curtain. Somewhere beyond those hills are you sitting at a terminal? Are you
putting a seed in a bit of dirt you loosened with your fingernail? Are you
listening to the low moan of the wind as its cool breath passes, as it races
to the warmer regions to cavort with its fellows? I am reading Fred Harris's
book: Correcting Time. It lifts one up. The call to meditate with God is
drummed into us. Things are being stirred up.

During a SpiritFest conference workshop on 'Living Peacefully in a
Stressful World,' Olfana and Bethera gave us these affirmations.  They
suggest that you take those that speak to you, and put them on notes
displayed where you will see them often--the refrigerator, the
bathroom mirror, your mate's forehead.... :-)
