This is the first in a series of teacher visits we had while traveling
through British Columbia after IC99.  I will post one each day this week.
There are six in all. We enjoyed reviewing them.  I hope you find them helpful.

TRAVELING WITH LANTARNEK
and Jada, Jael, Jonathan, and Evelyn  Aug.13-18, 1999

August 13, 1999 near Pemberton, B.C.

*	Lantarnek (T/R Jonathan):   I greet you and extend my welcome, as you have
extended your welcome toward me this evening.
	You have been blessed by an experience of fellowship this past week, one that
enriches the feeling of love with higher spiritual qualities.  This
commingling of souls in
one location reinforces in each individual the importance of sharing and
stimulates each
one toward further progress in connective association with the presence of
the Father.  To
witness the acceptance of each other instills in the individual a sense
that, over the course
of time, planet Urantia will one day, all over its surface, experience the
same fellowship
and acceptance as an entire body.  These island oases of spiritual
upliftment are not rare
on your world; they are simply not continual.  They flare up and fade as the
clatter of your
daily lives drain the inspiration.  It is your privilege to preserve these
uplifting emotions
and stirrings toward service that you may infuse the ordinary activities of
your lives with
this same sense of camaraderie and family connectivity.
	Perchance you have experienced, as you have left your retreat, the tendency to
want to pour forth this accepting love to those in the supposed outer world
who are not so
primed to be receptive as your fellows in retreat were.  Do not let this
urge dwindle, but
rather, express.  There may be some bewildered expressions as you do so, but
upon
reflection these other brothers and sisters of yours will realize the
kindness that you have
given forth to them so willingly.  It takes this unabashed boldness to cheer
another.  Worry
not that they may think of you oddly, for this odd-ness is commended by us.
Unselfish
expressions of love often create an uncomfortable reaction in one who is
guarded,
protecting their individual territory, personally, emotionally, and
mentally.  You may not
witness a reaction of acceptance, but imagine should ten more like you
follow in your
wake; eventually closed individuals will release that security, false that
it may be, in order
to open into a true security of family, of fellowship, of acceptance.
	One day this will be a reality on this world. All the activities of daily
life will be
uplifting to everyone, for the mutual support given by each to another will
have a
mounting effect upon one another, propelling each forward into more vigorous
expressions of acceptance and sharing, of understanding and service.
	I am Lantarnek.  It brings me great joy to be with you, as we melchizedeks are
certain that Michael's planet will rise to become a bright example of the
Father's mercy
and of the spectacular ministry that has been working so untiringly to bring
this planet
from the very depths of turmoil to the very heights of beauty and
experiential goodness,
that could never have been attained in a normal path of progression.  All of
life is full of
challenges, and this pattern holds true for an entire world.
	Sometimes an individual personality undergoes deep challenges that wound and
are not overcome until the morontia retraining, where many ministers can
direct healing
and upliftment and provide counsel and enlightenment.  A world does not die
and go to
the mansion worlds, but rather, is continually assisted by corps of
administrators and
celestial attendants.  These often rotating corps of beings are quite
capable of bringing
rectification to these deeper problems.
	We often do exchange staff, for in this manner we, too, may refresh
ourselves and
become re-inspired to tackle the difficult problems that face us.  It is not
that any group
has fallen short in assignment, or has given up, or deemed the problem
insurmountable. 
You, in your week-long gathering, have done in a small way this same
rotation, for you
have withdrawn from your tasks of the days in order to be infused with new
energy such
that you may return to your assignments and, with better clarity and
orientation,
accomplish your goals.
	I will repeat for you what you already understand, only that I may continually
reinforce this wisdom, that you daily are able to retreat from your
activities and be with
the Father, to drink deep his love, to bathe in his light, to be surcharged
with new vigor. 
When you seek these moments of embrace, you are attending a conference of
paradisiacal
significance.
	I will entertain your questions if you have them and am also quite
interested in
your comments.
	Jada:  I would like to express gratitude for your mission of bringing light
to this
dark place because it is so needed, and we are so grateful to see it finally
on its way.
	I would like to ask about universe broadcasts. What are they, and is this
something
we have to look forward to on this planet?
*	Lantarnek:  These broadcasts are strengthening as the time passes.  They have
been incircuited from the point of planetary administration to the system
headquarters, and
this network is functioning expertly.  Across the globe certain main trunks
are also in
place.  These are the ones that the melchizedeks and the mortal teachers
upon this world
use.  There are special circuits, such as those of the archangels, which
have been
functioning quite well all along upon the world, though somewhat restricted
interplanetarily.  The next goal of circuit emplacement is cross-planet.
But this will have
to unfold gradually, as these circuits are placed into operation depending
upon the
advancement of civilization.
	You are aware of the vast distances of space that intervene between a
planet and
another and the difficulty of physically transporting yourself to another
sphere.  In order
for Satania to attain a level of heightened system civilization, each world
so far removed
from one another, will require these circuits in order to exchange
knowledge, in order to
pass wisdom between each other.  It may be compared to your crude Internet
system.  I
do not mean to downplay your technological advancements, but they are still
quite
material in their structure, but the application is fairly equivalent.
	It is the design of the creators to allow each world independent
development, for it
is through this independence that the beautiful array of diversity emerges
which in time
converges into the mosaic that is a system, and every system likewise into the
constellation, each one a beautiful, unique, individual organization of
personalities and
planets and policies.
	This world struggles with ethnic strife, with governmental wars, with sectarian
rivalry because it doesn't understand, yet, the beauty of this diversity.
It still functions
under the fallacy that similarity is camaraderie.  The circuits will be very
necessary as the
planets further develop and reach their own individual maturation, thus
bringing upon it
the new phase of interplanetary exchange.
	Does this provide some food for thought?
	Jada:  So, we need to progress more as a world to be more harmonious on this
world before we can begin to harmonize with other planets in the system.
*	Lantarnek:  Very well said, my friend.  In order to be of assistance in
the opening
of the circuits one need not become a better mystic, one need not develop a
better rocket
ship, rather, one best apply oneself to the enhancement of social culture,
spiritual wisdom,
and philosophical enlightenment.  As the world grows it will become
qualified to enter into
the new phase.
	This is not a far distant attainment, for this world does have greatly improved
communication techniques than it had simply a century ago.  This will
greatly accelerate
the progress.  We hope that many of you... (tape flipped) [will become
disseminators of
high truth.]  We hope that you become litterbugs, scattering all about you
the messages of
love, of acceptance, of tolerance, of duty to the preservation of the
planet, of the privilege
of universe citizenship, the call to an ethic that goes beyond the
acceptance of each other
through merely the alleviation of strife, into the ethic that each one is
the Father's child.
	To treat another as you would be treated is anchored in this understanding that
you each are a child of God.  To be a child of God means that you have
bestowed upon
you his goodness, his truth, his beauty, his love, his mercy, his
acceptance, his forgiveness,
his joy, and his peace.  If that is how you are to be treated, that is how
another is to be
treated, for if the Father will treat them that way so can you, one who is
his child, and one
who is indwelt by him.
	Are there other comments?
	Evelyn:  You mentioned the changing of position, replacing one person with
another one.  I'm wondering if that is something you wanted to bring to our
attention.  Is
there something that we are doing that could stand to have that role
replaced from one
person to another?
	Lantarnek:  My primary intent was to create some commonality between us, as
you have spent time this week refreshing yourselves in a retreat fellowship.
But, as you
have indicated, there is often even among your kind a changing of the guard
in a sense, a
rotating of duties, a cycling of personalities in a given outreach, in a
given undertaking.  It
is to your credit as adherents to this mission that you have not placed any
individual in a
position of leadership, that you do not seek any particular person for
guidance and
direction.  There will be the continual rise to service and retreat from
view.  Also, this will
hold for groupings of personalities.  The stage upon which you may function
may be
constructed and played upon for a duration of time and then dismantled.
This dismantling
does not indicate failure.  It is simply that the effort has ruin its course
and served its
purpose.  This does not mean that any person or group will retire entirely
from function; it
only means that there will be a period of respite before new assignments are
presented and
new activities are undertaken.
	With this in mind, it is important that I comment that you work in an organized
fashion but do not work as an organization.  Note that the melchizedeks are
a body of
beings who are related as created.  We are not melchizedeks because we have
filled out an
application and taken a job.  We were born this way.  We work in a very
organized
fashion, but we are not an organization.  If you apply yourselves in this
manner you will
avoid the pitfalls of stagnation and the entanglements of administrative
rules and road
blocks.  
	Jael:  Thanks a lot for that. That makes me feel better.
*	Lantarnek:  You are welcome.
	Evelyn:  We welcome your input on how to do what needs to be done.
*	Lantarnek:  It is a thrill for me, for my order, and for the many working
with us in
this assignment upon Urantia to receive your welcome.  It is a thrill to
witness the
increased number of people on this world who think in this manner and are
beginning to
act in this way.  Once upon a time it was the rare seeker who would grasp
the significance
of planetary progress, not simply personal, spiritual progress.  Now it is
becoming the
desire of the many, the common man, to use those words, the multitudes.
There will be an
exponential increase.  This will spread like wildfire, for it is an
agreeable notion to many
and easily adopted.  We of my order are certain of this.
	Evelyn:  Thank you.

evening.  It is not like the tents that Machiventa dwelled in, but he
likewise would be as
